As a Package Consultant at IBM, get ready to tackle numerous mission-critical company directives. Our team takes on the challenge of designing, developing, and re-engineering highly complex application components and integrating software packages using various tools. You will use a mix of consultative skills, business knowledge, and technical expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into our clients' business environment and achieve business results.
Specifically, you will:
1. Support the translation of client business requirements into ERP solutions, including requirements approval, communication, traceability, and reuse
2. Contribute to the transfer of functional requirements to development and test team
3. Use SAP technology to automate business processes
4. Educate end-users on PP functions
5. Provide end user classroom training on the configured PP application before go-live and individual training during hyper-support after the cut-over
6. Identifying, developing, and deploying end-user solutions in ERP systems. Using your deep functional knowledge and familiarity with the SAP PP application, you will ensure that client business requirements are met while providing a variety of advisory services around project management, business process development, implementation support and end-user training.
7. Basic knowledge of software development methodologies (Waterfall and/or Agile)
- 3 or more full life cycle SAP implementations
- 4+ years of experience implementing and working SAP PP
- Good working knowledge of SAP PP including all related master data and customizing settings
- Experience defining systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines
- SAP PP Certification
- Lead PP Consultant experience for SAP implementation project.
