Introduction

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) and other demand planning capabilities on the o9 platform. The role focuses on incident management, data analysis, documentation, and user support to ensure smooth operations and effective use of the platform.

Your role and responsibilities

1.       Incident Management & Production Support

  • Triage and troubleshoot incidents related to MFP and demand planning functionalities.
  • Coordinate resolution with o9 Customer Service, engineers, users, and product managers.
  • Ensure timely communication of issue status and resolution outcomes.
  • Track operational metrics and identify opportunities for service improvements.

2.       Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity within the o9 platform.
  • Generate reports and insights to support planning processes and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to address data discrepancies and optimize data flow.

3.       Documentation:

  • Assist in documenting functional specifications, resolution steps, and knowledge articles.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for cross-functional team use.
  • Contribute to building a knowledge base to streamline future issue resolution.

4.       User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Training:

 

  • Support UAT processes by assisting with test planning, execution, and validation.
  • Develop and deliver training materials to users, ensuring successful adoption of new functionalities or processes.
  • Act as a subject matter expert to guide users on platform capabilities.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role, preferably in supply chain or planning functions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and validate complex data sets.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly.
