A Brand Storage Sales Specialist within IBM storage means co-creating with clients and colleagues in one of the most trusted, respected and awarded teams in its space. When clients want storage for their AI and deep learning computing infrastructure, they think of IBM Storage. We are looking for a candidate :

  • Who will be a Passionate Advocate that actively promotes and educates customers about IBM’s Storage for AI and the underlying infrastructure ( IBM Storage Scale/System)
  • Build awareness, generate excitement, and drive adoption by delivering compelling content
  • Showcasing the benefits of the storage AI technology through presentations and demonstrations
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for IBM’s storage capabilities to key customers in the Banking and Financial Market
Your role and responsibilities


Work closely with clients to understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's storage solutions will solve their problems whilst delivering value to their business. In this role, your achievements will drive your career, team, and clients to thrive. A typical day may involve:

  • Engaging with customers to address their storage needs, answer technical questions, and identify opportunities for adoption.
  • Collaborating with sales teams to provide product expertise, conduct product demonstrations, and address customer concerns during the sales cycle.
  • Developing content like case studies and presentations to highlight the advantages of IBM Data & AI storage solutions unique to financial markets
  • Collaborating with the broader IBM sales team to develop campaigns and boost pipeline growth.
Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise


  • A successful track record in tech sales, deep expertise and experience in the data analytics industry
  • Experience working with Nvidia systems to drive AI solutions
  • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience selling storage solution in VAST/DDN/Netapp
  • In-depth understanding of various storage technologies specifically AI, GPFS , Object Storage and enterprise computing architectures.
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and public speaking abilities to effectively convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Knowledge of current market trends, competitor landscape, and customer pain points related to storage solutions to effectively position IBM Scale/Scale System
  • Genuine enthusiasm for storage technology and the ability to communicate its value proposition convincingly.
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Storage Market Expertise: Storage market knowledge to be a trusted client advisor (training on IBM's Storage offerings is provided).

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
