Introduction

As an Integration Intern, you will be an integral part of the team responsible for designing, developing, and implementing integration solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in enterprise integration projects and work closely with experienced professionals across different domains. You will contribute to projects where integration serves as a key delivery point, enabling seamless communication between systems, applications, and data sources.

Your role and responsibilities

Develop a solid understanding of integration concepts, patterns, and best practices, such as APIs, message brokers, service buses, and microservices.

Familiarize yourself with the integration platforms and tools used within the organization, such as IBM AppConnect, MuleSoft or Apache Camel.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills in integration, middleware, and cloud technologies.

Work with senior developers to implement integration flows and services that connect various enterprise applications.

Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.

Familiarity with web technologies (REST, SOAP) and data formats (JSON, XML).


  • Soft Skills:

Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Verbal and written communication abilities.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Education:

Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Integration Concepts: Basic understanding of integration patterns, APIs, and middleware technologies.

Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

Web Services and Protocols: Familiarity with RESTful and SOAP APIs, as well as data exchange formats like JSON, XML, and YAML.

Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud services  and their integration services.

DevOps Practices: Awareness of CI/CD tools and practices for automating integration workflows.

Integration Platforms: Familiarity with tools like IBM AppConnect, MuleSoft, Apache Camel, or similar middleware solutions is a plus.
