The IBM Learning Portfolio Specialist will actively contribute to the development and execution of cutting-edge learning solutions aimed at enabling our clients and enhancing IBM product adoption and fostering growth within the IBM Learning revenue stream. 

This role will focus on Learning growth strategies for the Data and AI portfolio.  This includes identifying gaps in the portfolio of offerings, prioritizing gaps and identifying solutions to fill the gaps and ultimately grow the revenue for that portfolio. Additionally, it will focus on expanding the ecosystem through Global Training Partners (GTPs), Business Partners (BPs), and Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) platforms such as Coursera and edX.

This role demands a blend of strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving, and effective communication to drive growth and innovation within the IBM Learning ecosystem.


Your role and responsibilities

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Product Planning and Creation: Collaborate in the planning and development of IBM Learning products tailored for a specific brand, determining the product's purpose, rationale, and method of construction.
  • Innovation and Delivery: Persistently pursue product discovery and delivery to introduce groundbreaking and high demand learning offerings to the market.
  • Data-Driven Prioritization: Utilize data to prioritize the development of learning roadmaps, aiming to boost product adoption and increase IBM Learning revenue.
  • Market Research: Conduct research to pinpoint emerging markets and customer requirements.
  • Content Development Collaboration: Work closely with the Learning content development teams to prioritize the creation of learning materials.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a brand-specific team in ongoing collaboration to define, develop, market, and deliver new and existing learning products.
  • Cross-Team Communication: Maintain regular communication with all learning teams, IBM Sellers, Expert Labs Sellers, and IBM Learning Global Training Providers to gather feedback and disseminate new learning offerings.

  • Brand Technical Knowledge: Possess expertise in the Data & AI portfolio
  • Data and AI Product/Offering Management Experience: Bring relevant experience in managing offerings or products.
  • Communication: Exhibit strong communication skills, capable of articulating complex ideas clearly.
  • Innovation: Develop innovative solutions that can propel the IBM Learning mission forward.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
