Your role and responsibilities

Delivering the best AI products for the Enterprise and making IBM have the highest mindshare as clients embark on their AI for business journey is a key objective for IBM. This role plays a critical part in achieving this objective by building an ecosystem of ISV (Independent Software Vendor) solutions that seamlessly interoperate with IBM AI related offerings. 


Key responsibilities include:


  • Identify and recruit ISVs to build interoperability / integration with IBM’s AI technology stack, by understanding ISV’s solution and developing a integration scenario that delivers value to mutual customers.

 

  • Demo functional and technical capabilities of entire watsonx portfolio, as part of pitching / enabling ISVs to build interoperability with watsonx

     and work closely with ISVs to ideate and test new integration patterns / scenarios.

 

  • Rapidly prototyping POCs / custom demos to prove out interoperability opportunities (and value unlocks) between watsonx and ISV software

 

  • Facilitating access to watsonx environments and resolving issues that ISVs face while leveraging new and existing watsonx SDKs/APIs

 

  • Work with ISVs, IBM Product Management, and Client Engineering / Expert Lab teams to collect and track feedback on IBM software (and related documentation).

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Computer science (or equivalent technical) background with hands on technical experience with watsonx portfolio (or deep technical experience with a comparable generative AI development and deployment platform for external candidates).

 

  • Experience with developing PoCs and Demos that highlight integrations between watsonx (or similar platform) and ISV solutions in Python, Java, R, and low-code/no-code environments using SDK/APIs.


  • Broad understanding of Data & AI reference architectures and new and emerging tech stacks /software.

 

  • Critical thinker that can ideate / envision integration scenarios between IBM technology stack and ISV solutions that are not obvious at first sight Strong project management, interpersonal, and objection handling skills with focus on outcomes.
