IBM is seeking a skilled and experienced Security Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in developing the solution and ensuring secure operation. This role involves working with the development team in a day-to-day fashion, while responding to identified issues around compliance, vulnerability, or security incidents.
Key Responsibilities:
Software Vulnerability Management
- Provide guidance and support to development team members on secure software design and configuration
- Respond to identified vulnerabilities to remediate design or configuration issues
- Work with the Security Accreditation team to develop artifacts to show risk mitigation or closure of issues.
Access Control Management
- Manage user authentication and authorization through configuration of Identity Broker and local enforcement rules.
- Implement and maintain Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) policies.
- Oversee emergency access management.
Security Configuration
- Harden SaaS systems to minimize vulnerabilities.
- Configure security parameters for optimal protection.
- Set up secure system configurations.
- Manage transport security to ensure safe movement of changes between environments.
***Candidates local to the DMV area will be required to work onsite in the Reston, VA office Monday-Thursday.
Technical Knowledge:
- Deep understanding of the development and configuration techniques (SAP Concur authorization concepts)
- Proficiency in secure software design and configuration
- Knowledge of basic security protocols, including those related to transport, storage, and FICAM
