As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM’s clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Plan implement and upgrade security measures and controls.
  • Monitoring of the databases and instances
  • Analyse DAM related incidents and escalate the incidents with bank stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate closely with the respective teams for any integration of databases & instances
  • Ensure that routine administrative task like backup configuration, data archival are executed as per the schedule
  • Regular gap assessment to identify non-compliance to security compliance tools & initiate the remediation action
  • Health monitoring of DAM components including MX & Gateways
  • Perform baseline compliance assessment & share monthly report with stakeholders
  • Create Audit process, alerts, archiving and purging of audit records
  • Policy/Rule/Detection login finetune.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Expertise in Imperva DAM Operations and implementation
  • Preferred experience in DAM monitoring.
  • Automation in DAM areas.
  • Solid understanding of database platforms (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong understanding of security principles, access control, and threat management.
  • Ability to identify security threats and propose effective mitigation strategies.

 

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Experience with other DAM tools like IBM Guardium.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell) for automation.
  • Familiarity with SIEM tools and incident management processes.
