We at IBM Consulting in Stockholm are excited to announce a unique opportunity for an experienced SAP CX Commerce Developer to join our dynamic team at a leading global appliance company. As part of our application development setup, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing our ecommerce capabilities. Our client utilizes SAP Commerce as their primary ecommerce tool, and we are looking for a skilled professional to help us guide them in their digital transformation journey. This role demands a robust understanding of SAP Commerce Cloud architecture, along with hands-on experience in building microservices and integrating Azure services.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an SAP CX Commerce Developer, you will be responsible for:

1. Customizing various SAP Commerce modules including OCC, Promotions, Integration APIs, Search, and Payments, to meet business requirements.

2. Designing, developing, and implementing microservices using Spring Boot, enhancing our system's scalability and flexibility.

3. Integrating Azure services such as Event Hub and KeyVault to bolster our security measures and data management.

4. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

5. Ensuring optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

6. Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding, debugging, and testing.

7. Implementing continuous improvements and updates to existing systems.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

- Proven experience in SAP Commerce Cloud architecture and its customizations.

- Strong understanding of ecommerce workflows and modules, specifically OCC, Promotions, Integrations, APIs, Search, and Payments.

- Expertise in developing microservices using Spring Boot or similar frameworks.

- Proficiency in Java and related technologies.

- Familiarity with Azure services including Event Hub and KeyVault.

- Agile software development methodologies.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

- Must have the rights to work in Sweden without restrictions at the time for application

Preferred technical and professional experience

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures.

- Experience in Agile Scrum methodology.

- SAP C/4HANA knowledge is a plus.
