Your role and responsibilities

As a QA (Quality Assurance) /Test Developer you will be designing better ways to identify potential weak spots, inefficiencies, and issues within software systems. This position will work closely with development teams and other QA / Test engineers in the implementation and delivery of software products that meet rigorous quality standards, budgets, and timelines.  

You will play a key role by delivering quality functions for development teams within test driven framework. Your scope will include Test Plan Development, Test Case Execution, Automation Testing, Data Creation, API Validation and incorporating test automation in the CI/CD pipelines. 
 

Your primary responsibilities include:  

  • Working across development teams to deliver a high-quality software product 
  • Developing automation for build, deployment and test activities 
  • Creating and encouraging a culture of quality on the team and within the greater organization 
  • Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating QA efforts 
  • Establishing good practices for improving product quality 
  • Implementing the automatic provisioning of infrastructure for test execution environments 
  • Writing high quality Automation code and performing design reviews/inspection 
  • Raising/Analyzing defects and performing root cause analysis 

 

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

  • 2 + years professional experience.

  • Test Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive test plans, write automated tests and execute these test cases to ensure software products meet quality standards and requirements. 
  • UI Test Automation Proficiency: Hands-on experience in UI testing and automation 
  • API Test Automation Proficiency: Hands-on experience in API testing and API automation using a test framework 
  • Quality Assurance: Deliver quality functions for both development and QA teams, supporting test-driven development frameworks and ensuring rigorous quality standards are met throughout the software development lifecycle. Work to identify potential weak spots, inefficiencies, and issues within the software systems themselves too. 
  • Experience using version control systems (Git, etc.) 
  • Experience using Test Management tools like TestRail, and defect management tools like Jira. 
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated experience in problem-solving, with the ability to tackle complex issues and find effective solutions.  
Preferred technical and professional experience


  • ISTQB – Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or similar 
  • Automation Integration: Implement and integrate test automation into our Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to streamline testing processes and enhance efficiency.  
  • Cloud/Container skills: Familiarity with cloud (such as AWS, Azure and/or GCP) and container technologies, including Docker, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.  
  • Frameworks/Programming Languages/Operating Systems: Tekton, CI/CD, Jenkins, JavaScript, Linux, and Unix environments.  
  • Experience working in an agile environment. 
  • Able and eager to learn new coding languages, frameworks and tools. 
  • Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with remote office locations and colleagues.
