As a DevOps Intern at IBM Consulting, you will gain hands-on experience with modern DevOps tools and cloud technologies while collaborating with experienced engineers on real client initiatives. You will have the opportunity to:

-Gain practical exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native concepts, containerization, monitoring tools, and agile delivery practices.
We are looking for passionate learners who want to grow into strong DevOps engineers. You should have:
* Basic understanding of DevOps concepts (CI/CD, pipelines, automation).
* Strong knowledge of Git (GitHub/GitLab, branching, pull requests).
* Basic experience with Linux and Bash scripting.
* Fundamental understanding of Cloud computing (any provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP).
* Basic knowledge of Python for automation tasks.
* Understanding of containerization (Docker/Podman) and microservices concepts.
* Awareness of Kubernetes or OpenShift fundamentals.
* Understanding of infrastructure as code concepts (Terraform—basic knowledge acceptable).
* High interest in monitoring & logging tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.).
* Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and strong teamwork abilities.
* Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Hands-on experience with Terraform (creating simple IaC templates).
* Exposure to AWS, Azure, and/or GCP cloud environments beyond fundamentals.
* Basic knowledge of Kubernetes administration or OpenShift workflows.
* Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Tekton, GitLab CI).
* Familiarity with monitoring stacks (Prometheus, Grafana) or ELK/EFK.
* Experience writing scripts in Python or advanced Bash.
* Understanding of DevSecOps practices (code scanning, secrets management, SAST/DAST).
