Your role and responsibilities

IBM's Cognitive Systems Chain Test Engineering team is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer Professional responsible for developing new and leveraging existing automated processes used for hardware product testing. This position will involve working with IBM's newest technologies and require collaboration across many other IBM development groups for both hardware and software. In this position candidate will support current production processes, setup, validation

Required education
Associate's Degree/College Diploma
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

3+ Years experience with the following
Unix operating systems (AIX and Linux)
C/C++ programming languages
XL C/C++ and GCC compilers
Python, Perl, and shell scripting languages

Preferred technical and professional experience
  • An understanding of IBM Power Systems product line.
  • Logical PARtition (LPAR) / Virtualization technologies
  • Storage Area Network (SAN) experience
  • DB2 and MySQL relational database experience
  • advance networking knowledge
  • IBM i and z/OS operating systems
  • Javascript/jQuery/CSS web languages

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
