BM seeks to hire a Systems Services Representative for the Nashville, TN area. This role is for an individual contributor responsible for on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of IBM and multi-vendor systems and components including hardware, software, and operating systems in a data center environment.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
  • This is a field-based/mobile position that requires frequent travel by car to client sites across the Nashville, TN area. As such, the work location is considered Nashville, TN.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and must have reliable vehicle. 
Preferred technical and professional experience
  • Identifies key aspects of problem-solving techniques used in own area Utilizes accepted procedures for problem analysis and resolution 
  • Describes problem reporting and escalation practices 
  • Explains the value of a disciplined approach to problem solving 
  • Uses fact-finding techniques and diagnostic tools to identify problems Identifies and documents specific problems and resolution alternatives 
  • Helps to analyze risks and benefits of alternative approaches and obtain decision on resolution 
  • Develops alternative techniques for assessing accuracy and relevance of information 
  • Examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
