When engaging in business development, they demonstrate a strong understanding of service engagements within their area of expertise — including the methods, frameworks, and skills required to address business challenges across client industries. They build trusted relationships by articulating compelling solutions that clearly convey business value and by integrating other IBM capabilities in the design and delivery of complex engagements. They proactively identify new business opportunities, contribute creatively to solution development and sales efforts, and play a key role in helping IBM secure new business.
When leading service delivery, they manage and execute billable client engagements within their practice area while also participating in relevant Sector, Solution, or Community initiatives. They are responsible for leading project teams to deliver solutions in alignment with business measurements, contractual terms, and project governance frameworks.
Responsibilities include managing scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, applying effective project management techniques for planning, tracking, change control, and risk management. They oversee all project resources — including subcontractors — and establish clear, effective communication plans with both the project team and client stakeholders.
Finally, they provide day-to-day leadership, report progress regularly to the client, and are accountable for the financial performance of the engagements they manage, as well as for contributing to the growth of IBM’s services revenue through new business development.
Experience as a Senior Manager or Principal Consultant in SAP FI and CO.

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Over 10 years’ experience managing project scope and client expectations.
More than 10 years leading SAP implementation teams, including multiple projects with over 20 resources.
Over 5 years implementing SAP solutions for Portuguese clients.
