You will gain expertise in IBM‘s quantum-resistant security solutions. You will explore the fundamentals of quantum threats and quantum-safe cryptography within selected industry sectors, and you will implement basic post-quantum algorithms to solve real-world security challenges.

Your role and responsibilities
  • Research quantum computing threats to current cryptographic systems and support senior consultants in industry-specific assessments
  • Learn fundamentals of post-quantum cryptography and assist in evaluating quantum-resistant security tools under supervision
  • Support development of quantum security pilots and contribute to testing quantum-safe implementations in controlled environments
  • Support senior team members in cryptographic assessment projects

 

Required education
High School Diploma/GED
Required technical and professional expertise
  • Ambition to learn new things (even challenging ones like post-quantum security ind impacts)
  • Symmetric vs Asymmetric encryption understanding (AES, RSA, ECC)
  • Identity and access management (IAM) principles
  • Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals (CIA triad, risk management)
  • Understanding encryption at rest vs in transit implementation
  • Basic Python knowledge (C/C++ or Containers or Linux advance is plus for you)
  • Active studies in Cyber security, Software Engineering, or any other IT-related field
  • Readiness to participate in integration projects with state-of-the-art IBM technologies
