The Social Media & Influence team is aimed at building the IBM brand across the globe, across platforms, audiences, and product. We move at the speed of the feed to meet culture as it evolves.
Your Role and Responsibilities
We seek a paid social media specialist to join the Social Media + Influence team. This person will support the paid social strategy and execution to ensure social is contributing to the brand to demand strategy in support of business priorities. The successful candidate is metrics-driven and has a foundational understanding of paid social and the importance it has to drive reach and engagement with key audiences.

Assist in developing the paid social creative strategy for all campaigns in partnership with the paid media specialist and lead.

Own always-on paid social creative calendar and requests in partnership with paid media strategist to ensure a timely creation and launch of assets across all critical campaigns.

Partner with platform account leads to understand emerging trends across social that can be applied to IBM paid social efforts.

Partner with the editorial lead, social and demand strategists and creative producers to ensure paid content is created using a platform-first mindset for the brand to demand campaign.

Oversee briefing, production and execution of paid assets in partnership with campaign partners across Marketing and Communications and paid media lead.

Partner with the metrics and enablement team to develop actionable insights from ongoing metrics and help teams drive better paid social outcomes through creative.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

2-4 years of experience in paid social media strategy, social media, creative development

Experience amplifying social media content through paid media.

Experience working with a digital media agency.

Experience managing multiple projects across different teams at once.

Intellectual curiosity and the capacity to come up to speed quickly on complex technical topics.

An editor’s eye for great writing and visual storytelling on social media platforms.
