We are seeking a skilled Workday Functional Consultant to join our HR technology team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that our Workday system is optimized to meet organizational goals. You’ll configure, test, and support Workday modules, lead enhancement projects, and provide functional expertise across HR, Payroll, Finance, or other relevant areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to analyze business requirements and translate them into Workday functional solutions.
- Configure and maintain Workday modules such as HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, or Finance.
- Manage and execute system enhancements, releases, and updates - ensuring compliance with business processes and data integrity.
- Support business users by troubleshooting issues, performing root cause analysis, and recommending best practices.
- Develop and execute functional test plans, perform regression testing, and coordinate UAT with business teams.
- Collaborate with integration teams to support data interfaces between Workday and external systems.
- Create and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user training materials.
- Stay current on Workday releases and new functionality to advise on continuous improvement opportunities.

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5+ years of hands-on Workday functional experience (implementation or post-production support).
- Deep understanding of HR processes (hire-to-retire, compensation, benefits, time tracking, etc.) or relevant Finance processes.
- Proven ability to configure and support at least one core Workday module.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Swiss or EU nationality or valid swiss work permit
- Excellent verbal and written English skills; ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, in German or French is a plus.
- Workday certification(s) in one or more modules.
- Experience with Workday Reporting, calculated fields, or security configuration.
- Prior experience with Workday implementation partners or large-scale HR transformations.
