In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As an SAP Integration Consultant, you will be a technical integration specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering complex integration solutions that connect SAP systems with diverse application landscapes. You will lead integration workstreams across multiple client projects, architecting robust middleware solutions that enable seamless data flow and process orchestration across enterprise systems.

Required technical and professional expertise
  • Senior SAP integration experience with proven track record leading integration workstreams in SAP implementation, S/4HANA transformation, and middleware projects across multiple clients
  • Deep expertise in SAP PI/PO architecture and development including integration scenarios using multiple adapters (IDoc, RFC, SOAP, REST, File, JDBC), message mappings, BPM processes, and demonstrated experience with version upgrades and performance optimization
  • Strong technical proficiency in modern integration technologies including SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI), Event Mesh, SAP Business Accelerator HUB, API Management, OData services, and hands-on experience designing hybrid integration scenarios connecting on-premise and cloud systems
  • Proven experience with S/4HANA integration projects including understanding of embedded integration capabilities, migration from legacy integration patterns, and implementing real-time integration scenarios for S/4HANA environments
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to translate complex business requirements into technical integration solutions, create comprehensive documentation, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients
  • Comprehensive SAP technical integration stack expertise spanning multiple SAP modules (ECC, S/4 HANA, BW, CRM, SRM, Ariba), third-party application integration (Salesforce, ServiceNow, e-commerce), and EDI/B2B integration scenarios
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with experience troubleshooting complex integration issues, optimizing interface performance, implementing error handling frameworks, and managing high-volume data integration scenarios
