Introduction

As a Graduate SAP HANA PP (Production Planning) Consultant, you will be part of the SAP Manufacturing and Operations team responsible for implementing and supporting production planning and shop floor execution processes using SAP S/4HANA. You will work closely with manufacturing, materials management, and finance teams to optimize production efficiency and cost control through digital transformation initiatives

Your role and responsibilities

· Support implementation and rollout of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) modules, including:

o Material Requirement Planning (MRP)

o Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routings

o Work Centers and Capacity Planning

o Shop Floor Control and Production Orders

o Demand Management and Long-Term Planning

· Assist in gathering business requirements, preparing documentation, and performing configuration in SAP PP.

· Support integration with MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales & Distribution), and CO (Controlling)modules.

· Participate in testing, data migration, and user training activities.

· Support production execution, variance analysis, and reporting processes.

· Learn and apply SAP best practices for discrete, process, or repetitive manufacturing environments.

· Work with business teams to resolve issues related to production orders, confirmations, and MRP runs.

· Help prepare process documentation, training manuals, and test scripts

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise

Education:

· BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline

Preferred Technical Skills:

· Basic understanding of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning or SAP ECC PP modules.

· Understanding of manufacturing processes, MRP concepts, and production workflows.

· Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOMs), routings, and capacity planning.

· Awareness of integration with inventory management and cost accounting.

· Knowledge of Excel-based planning tools, data analysis, and basic ERP concepts.

Soft Skills:

· Strong analytical and logical reasoning ability

· Good communication and teamwork skills

· Eagerness to learn SAP and manufacturing systems

· Ability to work collaboratively with business and technical teams
