We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join the IBM FlashSystem Storage team as a Performance Analyst.
In this role, you will be responsible for performance testing, benchmarking and analysis across the IBM FlashSystem product family and features—including various network protocols, data replication and new hardware. You’ll collaborate with development teams worldwide to ensure that IBM FlashSystem achieves its high performance benchmarks.

- 5+ years of performance test and analysis experience including
- Leadership of teams and projects with global stakeholders
- Using storage performance benchmarking tools like vdbench, IO Meter etc
- Analysis of performance data to identify trends and assist issue resolution
- Defining pass criteria for the performance of hardware and software features, and defining test coverage to ensure that the pass criteria are met
- Proven Block Storage domain knowledge, with good understanding of features like High Availability, data reduction technologies and storage multi-pathing solutions
- Experience of working with multiple network protocols including Fibre-channel and Ethernet
- Ability to crisply communicate with stake holders (written/verbal)
