In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Administration and maintaince of Active Directory infrastructure to support domain controller, site, and service operations.
- Manage user accounts, computer accounts, groups, and organizational units.
- Implement and manage Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to enforce security, control application deployment, and configure user and computer settings.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AD services, network connectivity, and authentication failures.
- Monitor and optimize AD performance and security.
- Stay updated with the latest AD technologies and best practices.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure smooth operations and integration with other systems.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users on AD-related issues.
- Proven experience (at least 1 year) in managing Active Directory environments in enterprise settings.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and networking principles.
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation of AD tasks.
- Understanding of LDAP, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and other related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to handle sensitive data and maintain a secure system.
- Experience with cloud services, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions.
- Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management frameworks.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Associate.
- +3 years of proven experience in managing Active Directory environments in enterprise settings.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation of AD tasks.
- In-depth understanding of LDAP, DNS, DHCP, PKI, and other related technologies.
- Cybersecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ISC(2) SSCP, or others are preferred but not required.
